Who is responsible for your information
Towardly operates this website from Denmark and determines how personal information collected through it is used. For every privacy question or request, contact hello@towardly.net.
Information we collect
When you request the free card, we process the email address you provide and the resource requested. If you separately choose to receive occasional Towardly emails, we also record your choice, its time, the signup source, and the version of this notice shown to you. Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, such as an IP address, request time, browser information, and security logs, to deliver and protect the website.
Why we use it and our legal bases
We use your email to send the card you requested and take steps at your request to provide that service. This is separate from marketing. We send occasional Towardly marketing emails only when you give optional consent. We use limited technical logs where necessary for our legitimate interests in securing, operating, and diagnosing the website. We do not sell your personal information or use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Marketing choice
Marketing consent is optional and is not required to receive the card. You may withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting hello@towardly.net. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. The delivery email for a card you request is a service message, not enrollment in marketing.
Service providers and recipients
We disclose information only where needed to operate Towardly. Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) processes email addresses to deliver the requested card and, only with consent, manage marketing subscriptions. Our website hosting, database, delivery, and security infrastructure also processes limited information needed to provide and protect the site. These providers act under their applicable data-protection terms and are not permitted to use the information for Towardly-independent marketing.
International transfers
Some service providers or their subprocessors may process information outside Denmark or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires safeguards, transfers are protected through an applicable adequacy decision, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we keep information
If you request the card without choosing marketing, Towardly does not add your email to its marketing subscriber database. The email delivery provider may retain transactional delivery records for a limited period under its service settings and legal obligations. If you choose marketing, we keep your active subscription information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We may retain a minimal suppression record so we do not contact you again, and limited consent evidence for up to three years where reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance or resolve a legal claim. Security logs are retained only for the period needed for security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and may withdraw consent at any time. These rights are not absolute where the law permits or requires continued processing. Contact hello@towardly.net; we may need to verify that the request concerns your email address. You also have the right to raise a concern with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
Cookies and similar technologies
Towardly does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The website may use strictly necessary security and delivery technologies that do not require optional consent. If we introduce non-essential analytics, personalization, or advertising technologies, we will provide clear information and obtain consent before activating them where required.
Security and children
We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Towardly is intended for adults and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
